Visibility's down to a quarter mile across much of South Dakota this morning. Give yourself extra space on the roads until about 10 A.M. When this burns off. In the next 24 hours. Once it clears? You're in for a treat. We're running 20 to 25 degrees above normal today — the kind of warmth that makes you forget it's early March. Central South Dakota climbs near 68 degrees. Out west. Rapid City and the Black Hills flirt with 70, which is near-record territory for March 5th. Eastern areas sit a bit cooler at 61, thanks to that stubborn fog, but even that feels more like mid-April than early March. Don't get too comfortable. Rain develops across the east after 7 P.M.
