We are setting our sights on urban legends from our wonderful state of Illinois. We begin by examining the mass hysteria incident of the 1940's in Mattoon Illinois with The Mad Gasser of Mattoon. We examine the facts of the case and break down what we actually think happened. Then we move to The Enfield Horror. A cryptid case from the 1970's where basically only one man saw a 3-legged baboon like creature around his home. And the final legend we look at is something that could take place anywhere in the world. In fact, there are stories of a similar phenomenon happing almost everywhere. But we turn our gaze towards Chicago and the legend that is Resurrection Mary. The lady in white mythos that is said to haunt a stretch of road in the Chicago area leading to Resurrection Cemetery.
