Sirens to Support por Rebecca S.

Notas del episodio

In this episode of Sirens to Support, we explore the role of Occupational Therapy within paramedic services and how it supports the wellbeing of our members.

Featuring two Occupational Therapy students from the University of Toronto, we discuss how OT helps paramedics manage both the physical and psychological demands of the job. From recovery and return-to-work planning to career transitions, sleep, stress, and burnout, OT support extends across all stages of a paramedic’s career—not just after injury.

We also explore how OT can support the families of paramedics, helping build understanding, balance, and wellbeing at home. This episode highlights available supports within YRPS and aims to empower members and their families to access the resources available to them.
