When I was younger, I thought fairytales were about outcomes.

About the crown.

The wedding.

The victory.

But as I grew older, I realized something quieter.

Fairytales didn’t teach me what to want.

They taught me how to dream.

And there’s a difference.

Because wanting is specific.

Dreaming is structural.
