Mr. Koehr is Managing General Partner of two fund management companies: Sorin Angel Capital, LLC and Sorin Real Estate Capital, LLC. Sorin Angel Capital invests in early stage companies. Sorin Real Estate Capital is an active real estate investor in the Virginia market. These investments include commercial and multi-family residential real estate with a focus on Virginia markets including: Richmond, Manassas, and Staunton.

Jim has been married to his wife Colleen for 31 years, is the father of 12 children and the grandfather of 5. He has been the Seton School Varsity Swimming Coach since 2001 and has won eight (8) VISAA Division II State Championships. Jim is a student of the American Civil War and World War II.
