• then Napoleon transferring a circlet (crown) that belonged to one of the murderers victims to his own head, to declare himself Emperor of France
• doesn't give any lunatic who repeates the fictional "beheading to steal it back" story, or puts it in a film sequence, ultimate authority over every other Royal Family on the planet.
