Howard is widely recognized as a Red Sea diving pioneer, International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame inductee, NOGI Award winner, author, and one of the early figures who helped introduce the Sinai and Sharm el-Sheikh region to the global dive community. In this episode, Howard shares how a chance discovery of Roman coins while snorkeling helped launch his diving career, eventually leading him to open one of the first dive operations in Sharm el-Sheikh in 1972.
