City of Santa Cruz Public Works Director Nathan Nguyen provided an update to the Commission on the City’s transportation projects.

Recently completed projects include: Ocean & San Lorenzo Paving project; and METRO Interim Operations.

Current projects include: Coastal Rail Trail Segment 7, Phase II; Murray Street Bride Retrofit; Laurel Street

Surface Seal & Stripe; and an Active Transportation Plan Update.

Future projects include: Coastal Rail Trail Segments 8 & 9; and Downtown Expansion Plan, Laurel Extension relocation, Pacific/Front roundabout and Spruce Street Plaza)
