This week is Ethan's birthday so to celebrate the brothers decided to watch one of his other favorite Pokémon movies to dissect and compare and contrast to Detective Pikachu. He chose 2005's Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. Harrison and Ethan breakdown this movie thematically and structurally as well as speak about how well this movie holds up, even without the necessary nostalgia. They also do their best to constantly connect the two film together, sometimes in ways that make complete sense and sometimes in ways that only happen when you've watched the same movie 26 times so far this year.
