Like Paul describes in Romans, we often find ourselves doing what we don't want to do and failing to do what we know is right. The answer isn't striving harder or obsessing over the work of the enemy. The answer is fixing our eyes on Jesus, whose blood transforms what we could never change ourselves. Join us as we discuss who sowed the seed, why the enemy wants our attention, and how God is faithfully producing the fruit of wheat in those who belong to Him.

Our conversation continues in Proverbs 1, focusing on the warning found in verses 10–19. While the passage speaks of a gang enticing someone to follow their path, we discuss how this warning extends beyond natural people and points to the spiritual battle for our attention and agreement. Every day, voices compete for influence in our lives. The carnal mind, old habits, fear, offense, pride, and worldly thinking all attempt to draw us away from the voice of wisdom. Proverbs calls us to recognize these voices and refuse their invitation. We explore how believers must learn to discern between the wisdom that comes from God and the voices that appeal to the flesh. We are reminded not to allow flesh and blood, emotions, or natural reasoning to override what the Spirit of God is saying. Wisdom is still calling. The question is: Which voice are we agreeing with? As sons and daughters of God, we are invited to listen carefully, walk in discernment, and follow the path that leads to life.
