Rain tapers to drizzle by mid-morning, but the fog and dampness hang around through early afternoon. Providence tops out at 36 degrees with northeast winds gusting to 23 miles an hour. Down along Narragansett Bay. Here comes 37 degrees with stronger gusts to 25 miles an hour off the water. Cloudy, damp. And gray all day — the kind of weather that makes you want to stay in pajamas.
