That snow falling on your windshield? Consider it a farewell performance. Rhode Island picked up about a third of an inch overnight. And this clipper system is packing its bags by early afternoon. So breathe easy.
Providence and the Bay both top out near 38 degrees today. Right on schedule for late February. Southwest gusts hit 25 miles an hour through midday.. The kind that'll rip a coffee lid right off your cup. They calm down tonight. Skies stay stubborn and cloudy even after the snow clears. Lows dip to 28 degrees inland, 31 degrees along the Bay. Between 9 P.M. And 2 A.M., a weak front sneaks through with a slight chance of scattered rain or snow showers. Nothing dramatic. Just enough to keep your wipers honest.
