Good afternoon! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the Rhode Island Weather Podcast. It's Monday, February 23rd.. And folks, this is a full blown blizzard. Nearly six inches of snow has already piled up. Three and a half of those fell in just the last six hours. And it's still hammering down. A Blizzard Warning covers the entire state until 7 A.M. Tuesday. You'll want to hear how this breaks down regionally. In Providence, heavy snow and blowing snow continue through 7 P.M. The worst punch lands around 11 A.M. With two to three inches per hour. Winds are howling north at 21 to 32 miles an hour, gusting to 55 miles an hour. That's whiteout territory.
