Today for our third special podcast in collaboration with Birdlife to celebrate the International Day of Forests I speak with Mami Rasamoelina, Forest Programme Manager for Africa.

Mami describes his upbringing in Madagascar and his ongoing work across various nations in different climates, states of poverty and vulnerability. He goes into detail on the methods used by Birdlife to successfully bring about positive conservation change, the behind the scenes challenges that conservation organisations face, impacts on local communities and future predictions.
