On this episode of Road Gang Radio, hosts Jimmy Mac and Lindsay Lawler welcome Jason Walsmith — musician, storyteller, entrepreneur, and traveler, for a wide-ranging conversation about life on the road.

Jason has spent more than 30 years fronting the band The Nadas, but when COVID hit and gigs stopped, he and his wife Emma pivoted. They loaded up a Storyteller Overland camper van and launched the “I’ll Play Anywhere Man Tour”, bringing socially distanced, outdoor concerts across the U.S. That journey inspired new music, including the fan-favorite “Camper Van”, recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Beyond music, Jason is also an entrepreneur, running Guitar Satchel, and a writer/photographer, sharing stories through The Racontourists project and his Substack column.
