Fernando Rover Jr. is a San Antonio based interdisciplinary artist. His work comprises of elements of prose, poetry, photography, film, and performance art. He holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in English and history from Texas Lutheran University and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prescott College. His interests range from millennial interests to popular culture, Black male queer experiences, feminism, and impact-based art. His works has appeared in numerous publications and anthologies, including Odyssey Online, Caged Bird, Black Press USA, and the San Antonio Observer. He is the author of two poetry collections: ‘Labyrinth’ (2019), winner of the 2019 Best Indie Book Award for Poetry and the 2020 Literary Titan Award as well as shortlisted for the 2020 Shelf Unbound Independent Book Awards, and ‘Sanctuary’: A ‘Labyrinth’ Red ...
