France Stohner is a mental health counselor and community organizer with a background rooted in anti-oppressive and social justice frameworks. She holds a Masters in Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Spirituality from the University of Ottawa and Saint-Paul. As Executive Director of Centre Kapwa, she leads initiatives supporting Filipino/a/x youth and families through art, movement, and conversations. France is also on the Advisory Council for Kabangka Canada and coordinates Super Inday Art, a program for incarcerated women in the Philippines.
