In Esther 5 Esther makes her act of intercession, which is a picture of what all believers are called to do. We are to approach the king, with no regard for our lives, to make selfless requests on behalf of others.

This chapter considers intercession, and also the gallows that Haman made, which in fact was made for the purpose of crucifixion.
