In 2 Chronicles 27 we have a very short chapter about King Jotham. Its says very little other than that he followed in the ways of the Lord and did a few things. One question remains, If Jotham followed in the ways of the Lord, why did he only reign sixteen years? This means he died at 41. We don’t know the answer to this..
The Chronicler seems only to care about what mattered to the Lord, so nothing much about this king is said at all. This reminds us of a famous poem by CT STudd, and here is the first section.
