In 2 Chronicles 25 Amaziah followed the Lord, but Not with a perfect heart - That’s pretty much summarizes most believers. It is worth nothing that there is a difference between having a perfect heart, and perfect deeds. You can have a heart after the Lord, but not do things perfectly as David did, or have a heart that is not perfect. A mixed up heart follows many other things too.
