In 1 Chronicles 15 David finally brings up the ark to Jerusalem, and we find out he “prepared a place for it.” David is courting God, like a man courts a young lady.

We also learn that David setup 24/7 worship, and also used 6 different Levite family groups to serve God. We know who three of these Levite families are, but who are the other three?

To carry the ark the priests had to sanctify themselves. But we too are priests, and we are also to carry the glory of God. This video explains this from a New Testament perspective and how we go about doing that.
