In today’s episode, I chat with Tomas Fehrling, a Swedish solo sailor who is currently circumnavigating aboard his 2010 Dufour 40e Performance, SY Saoirse. I came to know of Tomas as a result of discovering his sailing blog, sysaoirse.com, a little over two years ago. Since that time, I’ve been following Tomas’ incredible journey, with Saoirse, throughout Europe, the Med, across the Atlantic into the Caribbean, through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific. Currently, Tomas and Saoirse are in Whangerei, NZ where they will explore New Zealand’s many epic treasures as they wait out cyclone season. I am thrilled to introduce you to, Tomas, a sailor who has inspired me tremendously!
