Conversation Two: When God Changes What Is Coming Against You

In Conversation One, we witnessed Jehoshaphat surrounded by enemy commanders with nowhere to run and no time to develop another strategy. He cried out, and Scripture tells us:

“The LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.” — 2 Chronicles 18:31

But there is another revelation hidden inside those words.

Sometimes God helps us by strengthening us to endure what we are facing. He gives grace for the journey, courage for the battle, peace in the storm, and strength when we are weak.

But sometimes God intervenes differently.

He changes what is coming against us.
