Diana’s world is thrown upside down when the woman she is dating at work outs her the rest of their colleagues. As Diana combats the harassment that follows, she develops new strategies to hide her identity and maintain her sense of normalcy. Eventually, she finds the courage to come out with the help of an unexpected ally.
Growing up in a religious household, Mike dedicated themselves to their church, their community, and their faith. As they begin to discover their sexuality, they enroll themselves in gay conversion therapy in an attempt to 'heal' themselves. As their religious values and strengthening LGBTQ+ identify become harder to navigate, Mike makes a brave decision.
When Naomi comes out to her dad at the age of 14, he isn’t surprised. As a gay man himself, he had noticed some similarities in his youngest daughter, and had long been expecting this announcement. But is her father’s support strong enough to help Naomi weather the scrutiny of her small rural town and tight-knit Mennonite Christian community?

In spite of Vinh and his parents’ language barrier (Vinh’s Vietnamese is not great, and neither is his paren’t English), Vinh is raised with a secure, loving family unit – full of warmth and well-defined expectations for how he should live his life. But as he begins to find and articulate his true identity as a gay man, he knows he has to tell his family. But can he find the words?
