Step outside right now and you're feeling 46 degrees under clear skies. A cold front barrels statewide today, bringing rain and a temperature crash. The Willamette Valley gets hit first. Rain moves in around 8 A.M., peaking by mid-afternoon with an 80 percent chance. High of 55 degrees before temps fall to 53 by afternoon. Southwest winds 6 to 10 miles an hour, gusting to 22.
Down in the Southern Willamette Valley, you stay drier longer. Rain holds off until around 2 P.M., then continues into midnight. High near 57 degrees.
Central Oregon? Completely different day. Sunny skies, high of 58 degrees. Southwest winds 7 to 10 miles an hour with gusts to 21. Tonight drops to 29 degrees under mostly clear skies.
