Oklahoma City hits 73 degrees by mid-afternoon. Down in Lawton, you're pushing 74. Up in Tulsa and across the northeast, you're sitting at 72. Southwest winds kick in at 5 to 10 miles an hour. And that's where things get interesting. Those winds and that sunshine are creating elevated fire weather conditions across western Oklahoma. Humidity drops into the teens out there. Any outdoor burning today could spread fast. Not the day to test it. Tonight stays mild. Clear skies continue with lows in the low 50s statewide. Winds pick up a bit, gusting to 21 miles an hour.
