Good morning. Oklahoma. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside this morning and you'll feel that crisp, post-frontal bite in the air. A stark contrast to yesterday's stormy chaos. That cold front has finally cleared the state, leaving behind a much cooler, drier airmass. We're waking up to overcast skies and temperatures hovering right around 40 degrees statewide. Quite the change from the severe storms that rattled northeast Oklahoma just last night. Down in Southwest Oklahoma, you're seeing the biggest temperature swing. After last night's storms, you'll only climb to 62 degrees today — that's 37 degrees cooler than yesterday. But hold onto your hats: north winds are howling at 13 to 21 miles an hour, with gusts up to 30. A few isolated rain showers might linger through noon, but we're drying out quickly.
