We're under a Red Flag Warning across nearly the entire state. Wind gusts hit 35 miles an hour, turning dry grass into a matchstick waiting for a spark. No outdoor burning today. Period.
Central Oklahoma wakes up at 42 degrees around 5 A.M., but that wind makes it feel like 34. By 4 P.M., you're hitting 71 degrees under full sun. Those south-southwest winds howl at 15 to 22 miles an hour, gusting to 33 around 9 A.M. Tonight stays mild at 47, but the fire danger doesn't quit.
Northeast Oklahoma starts even colder — 35 degrees at 5 A.M., feeling like 34. Winds shift from south to southwest around 11 A.M., gusting to 35 degrees as temps climb to 71 b ...
