Here to let you know that you aren't doing it wrong.....NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY!! There's no such thing as a perfect parent. Sorry if I popped your bubble but it's the truth. As someone who isn't perfect and a parent, I want to let you in on a few little secrets.
