Heavy snow and dangerous wind will make travel very difficult, especially in the south and east. If you're on the roads tonight, you'll want to be extremely careful. Snowfall spreads across the southern two-thirds of the state this evening, while it tapers off from northwest to southeast late tonight into Sunday morning. The strongest winds will hit south central and southeast North Dakota, while the southern James River Valley could see near-blizzard conditions.
