But here's the thing: that fog you woke up to wasn't just an inconvenience. We had a Dense Fog Advisory until 8 A.M. This morning, with visibility dropping to a quarter mile at times. In the next 24 hours. But the real story today is the temperature split across North Dakota. Eastern North Dakota broke out of the clouds by midday and soared to 54 degrees. That's running about 20 degrees above normal for early March. Central areas hit 55 under mostly sunny skies. But head north. And it's a different world.
