Visibility is down to a quarter mile in spots. Take it slow on the roads this morning. That fog should lift by 9 A.M. In the next 24 hours. Here's what you can expect across the state today. The Piedmont deals with on-and-off showers through noon. You'll hit 56 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. Watch out tonight—fog could roll back in with a low of 45. Over in the Triangle, you've got a chance of rain before 2 P.M. Highs top out at 53 degrees there. Tonight turns mostly cloudy with a low dipping to 43.
