God uses His word to convict us of sin, to expose our desires, to reveal to us our character. When we enter into a relationship with Him, He promises to transform that chaacter to reflect Christ. One of God's great purposes ifor marriage is for marriage to be part of that transformation process. My selfishness, my pride, my need for God to change me became so evident when I got married. He taught me how to love like Jesus loved. He continues that transformation process today.
