Today’s reading takes us to Hebrews 7, where we see Jesus as the Priest who never stops. Melchizedek points us to a greater priesthood, a better hope, an eternal Priest, and a perfect Priest. The old priesthood could provide ceremonial access, but it could never perfect the worshiper. Jesus does what no earthly priest could ever do.
