Pastor Justin Hansen begins a new series for October, Beyond the Surface, teaching from Matthew 25:14-30. The main idea of the Parable of the Talents is all about stewardship and the responsibility that comes with the gifts and resources God has entrusted to you. In this story, a master gives different amounts of money (talents) to his servants based on their abilities before going on a journey. This passage reminds us that we have gifts and abilities for a reason. We need to embrace them, step out in faith, and be a fruitful steward in our life! We also pay tribute to Pastor Stevyn and Abigail McCaw on their last day at New Heights Church.
