Good morning. Nebraska. I'm Michael Mosby. Step outside and you'll feel like someone cranked the calendar forward two months. We're talking 70s statewide today — the kind of warmth that makes you question if winter ever happened. Eastern Nebraska hits 75 degrees. That's 25 degrees above normal for early March. Southeast Nebraska pushes to 78. Western Nebraska? You top out near 79, flirting with the 1989 record of 80. But here's the catch. That heat comes with bone-dry air and west winds gusting to 25 miles an hour. Red Flag Warnings blanket much of western Nebraska through 8 P.M. Any spark becomes a wildfire today. No burning. Period. Tonight's when things get wild. A cold front crashes south late this evening. And temperatures nosedive. Eastern Nebraska falls to 43 overnight. Southeast drops to 44. But western Nebraska? You plunge from 79 this  ...
