Louise: What additional training did you get when looking after a child with a disability?
Louise is one of our amazing experienced foster carers who initially took on respite fostering, allowing other families and children to have a short break from their placements. Once she then met her partner, she was able to then become a full time foster carer. Her previous experiences as a teacher gave her the skills she needed to become the carer that she is today.
Louise: How did you prepare for a child coming to stay?
