BOBBY FERRARI 90s REFREAK Chopped up some Righteous Brothers. Slowed down some Knx. Mixed it all Above The Rim — and that’s just the intro. Bobby Mardis’s ‘Keep On’ is the real gem here, sprinkled with some White Ferrari Frank Ocean magic.
Why can’t that Kanye bridge be it’s own song? Why can’t that Quasimoto intro be a little longer? And why did Drake and Khaled make ‘No Secret’, a bonafide gospel hit, only 48 seconds long? I don’t have the answer. But I do have a mix. I made ‘2Much’ to make the favorite parts of some of my favorite songs last longer. God bless the rhythm.
Collins Oboh, aka Colloboh, is an experimental electronic musician born in Nigeria, raised in Baltimore, and now living in LA. Colloboh released Entity Relation through the prolific Leaving Records label in 2021, an EP of hypnotic IDM beats, and he recently finished touring with indie giants Beach House. In this episode, we'll talk about touring with Beach House, how Colloboh feels about streaming royalties, what's unique about his work with the modular synthesizer, and the inspiration behind his upcoming ambient-leaning EP.

That album became Aloof and is currently one of my favorite records for its incredible blend of rapping, singing, and dance beats. (Toro Y Moi fans take note.)
