Special Bulletin: Parker Is Still Missing in Calgary
This is not a regular episode. An eleven-year-old boy has been missing in Calgary since Thursday, July 16, 2026, and as of today he has not been found. Parker is autistic and non-verbal. He cannot call for help, and he cannot tell a stranger his name or where he lives. There is no speculation in this episode, because there is nothing to speculate about. Calgary police have said there is nothing to indicate foul play. This is a bulletin: what police have confirmed, what the search has covered so far, and what you can actually do today. It also covers the part of this story that has made a lot of Calgary parents angry — that Parker's disappearance did not meet Alberta's legislated threshold for an AMBER Alert, and that it took a special provincial exemption and two full days before one was issued. If you see Parker, do not approach him. Keep him in sight and call 911 immediately. Parker is 4'11" and approximately 90 pounds, with brown hair, a shaved head and brown eyes. He was last seen shirtless, wearing dark shorts and black noise-cancelling headphones. HOW TO HELP If you see him: Call 911. Do not approach, call out to him, or attempt to bring him anywhere. He may become more frightened if confronted by a stranger. Tips: Calgary Police Service non-emergency line, 403-266-1234 Anonymous tips: Crime Stoppers, 1-800-222-8477 Check your property: Garages, sheds, backyards, hot tubs, pools and under decks. Police have advised that Parker tends to lock doors behind him, so check behind locked doors as well. Submit footage: Police are asking anyone in the Thorncliffe area with CCTV, residential security camera or dashcam footage from July 16 onward to submit it, regardless of whether Parker appears in it. https://cps.ca.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/ca26318270 Share the original poster only.
