Brian and Eric Barr are brothers and Co-Founders of the NJ-based surf brand, Feeling Swell, which is dedicated to de-stigmatizing the conversation about mental health. The Barr brothers grew up in Bridgewater, NJ before their parents decided to live at the Jersey Shore full time. The company name was born when Eric started surfing and would often ask his dad if he was "feeling swell?" With the trademarked brand name in hand, the brothers saw an opportunity to build a brand with a philanthropic mission. However, it was unclear exactly what that mission would be.
