John Bernyk has been playing guitar since 1968 and has collected vintage guitars for the past 20 years. John latched on to the cigar box guitar and launched Lazy B Cigar Box Guitars named after his family's ranch. To date he has built over 600 cigar box guitars. John also leads his band Cigar Box Stompers, joined by Tim Nolan on blues harp/harmonica. The band's CD Worst for Wear is available now! The band performs a lineup of original blues/rock songs featuring the Cigar Box Guitar and spread the long musical history of the CBG! John also organized the largest cigar box guitar ensemble that earned the Guinness Book World Record when 263 cigar box guitar players performed Bad to the Bone.
