From Memphis, Tennessee, Ari came to Jacob’s Camp as a kid and has now continued as a counsellor. He speaks on sports at college and how he transitioned into having a passion for “managing” and learning about the in’s and out’s. He also speaks on his college degree, learning a new language and his future.

My co-counsellor from my first half of camp is on the latest episode to speak about his life in Florida and his experiences in a camp setting. Gabe also touches upon having skills in various areas, which can be complicated in having a set career.

Val is from Puebla in Mexico and is visiting Jacob’s Camp in Mississippi for the second year in a row. This year, she is a specialist in yoga, pilates and other physical activities. She speaks on meeting new people, her degree in food & nutrition and the understanding of different accents.

After years in the mandatory army and living through a very stressful period, Noam is now setting his sites on a clearer future of travel. He aims to move to East Asia before possibly studying at University. This is the longest episode of ‘Moving Forward’ for a reason, the stories are simply amazing.
