Walter Matthau, of all people, stars as Charley Varrick.. a former stunt pilot and crop duster turned small time bank robber.. who robs a bank with his wife and his associate Harman (Andrew Robinson, from Dirty Harry) in a small town in New Mexico expecting $2,000-3000.
