We discuss 1980's Flash Gordon directed by Mike Hodges and staring Sam Jones, Melody Anderson, Max von Sydow. The film follows football player Flash Gordon and his comrades travel to the planet Mongo and find themselves fighting the tyranny of Ming the Merciless to save Earth from its eventual destruction.
