On the latest episode of Mormon Book Reviews, Matthew Gill of the Restored Branch of Jesus Christ discusses his discovery and translation, using the Urim and Thummim, of two sets of ancient engraved metal plates. This would become known as the "Book of Jeraneck", the written history of the builders of Stonehenge. Mathew was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He tells of his faith journey and having many angelic visitations, including one from the Angel Moroni at the age of 12! Moroni gave Matthew the opporutunity to handle and leaf through the plates that Joseph Smith used to translate the Book of Mormon. This is part 1 of my interview with him.
