In this episode, from a chapel service held on Tuesday 12 May 2026, Peter Orr, Lecturer in the New Testament Department at Moore Theological College, speaks on Luke 8:26-29 and Jesus’ healing of the man possessed by a legion of demons.

Peter reminds us that the power of evil is overwhelming, and that if we treat it too casually, we open ourselves up to enslavement and destruction. But Jesus is greater than evil: he is Lord and saviour. He rescues us and restores our humanity. Like the man in Luke 8, we too can now sit at Jesus’ feet and declare how much he has done for us.
