Temporada 5
Ultraman Teo 03
Episode 3 explores how conflict reveals character. Ibuki discovers the limits he never knew he had, the Astronomy Club grows under pressure, and Teo begins to uncover power he still doesn't fully understand. There's more going on here than a simple monster fight. Dive deeper with my Inspector's Notes - https://mjmunoz.com/2026/07/20/ultraman-teo-03/
Ultraman Teo 02
Ultraman Teo Episode 2 makes its heroes awkward, frightened, and a little dorky and that may be exactly what makes the Astronomy Club so charming. Dive deeper with my Inspector's Notes - https://mjmunoz.com/2026/07/14/ultraman-teo-02/
Ultraman Teo 01
Ultraman Teo Episode 1 introduces Ibuki Mitsuishi as an alien who has lost his home world—and that loneliness shapes nearly every scene. From subtle visual storytelling to cultural misunderstandings and his confrontation with Vialoga, this premiere builds a hero whose greatest strength may come from finding connection instead of remaining isolated. Temporada 4
Ultraman Omega 17
Ultraman Omega 17 finally delivers on the promise of the series, with meaningful character work, compelling mysteries, and a powerful message about humanity's role in protecting Earth. Did this episode restore your faith in Omega? Dive deeper with my Inspector's Notes - https://mjmunoz.com/2026/07/15/ultraman-omega-17/
Ultraman Omega 16
Ultraman Omega 16 finally gives me a baseline for what this series should be. This isn't Omega at its absolute best. Instead, Episode 16 sets the minimum standard every episode should hit: strong character interactions, a clear story, fun comedy, an unconventional win condition, and just enough ongoing plot to keep me invested. The newly formed KSCT Unit Uta gets its first mission as Sorato, Kosei, and Ayumu investigate the mysterious Alligatortois. Along the way we get some of the best team dynamics, funniest Trigaron moments, and most effective storytelling Omega has delivered in weeks. The question is: Is this the start of a new trend for the series, or just an exception? What did you think of Ultraman Omega 16? Did this episode work for you, or do you think I'm giving it too much credit? Ultraman Omega 15
Ultraman Omega 15 should be exactly what I was looking for, but something still feels off. This episode gives us one of the best Sorato scenes in the series so far, as he tells Kosei that he's no longer interested in recovering his memories. On the surface, it's a touching moment. But is Sorato actually healing... or is he running away from something? I dive into Omega's possible "kryptonite," the mystery of the two Soratos, the strange symbolism at the beginning of the episode, and why I think the real conflict may not be Zoveros at all. Do you think the dark Sorato represents Omega's true self, an evil self, or something else entirely? Dive Deeper with my Inspector's Notes - https://mjmunoz.com/2026/06/12/ultraman-omega-15/
Ultraman Omega 14
Ultraman Omega Episode 14 finally delivers on the promise and premise that drew me into the series. Sorato's lost memories, his mysterious origins, the world of Geness, and the consequences of Omega's arrival on Earth all take center stage in an episode that feels like a genuine continuation of Episode 1. Rather than another isolated adventure, Omega 14 begins connecting the dots and treating the larger story as something that matters. In this review, I discuss why Zovaras is such an important addition to the series, how the episode changes the stakes for Sorato, and why this is the most invested I've been in Omega's overarching story in quite some time. What did you think of Ultraman Omega Episode 14? Did it make you more interested in Sorato's past and the mystery of Geness? Ultraman Omega 13
Ultraman Omega Episode 13 finally gave us the season’s clip episode… and I really do not understand why it needed to happen here. In this review, I talk about why modern Ultraman clip shows keep killing momentum, why Omega’s worldbuilding feels weaker because of this episode, and how Tsuburaya could make recap episodes way more interesting without sacrificing budget or production time. I also pitch several alternative ideas including: • Slice of life episodes • Ultra Q style mystery stories • Cooking competition chaos • Human sized Omega adventures • Better ways to use flashbacks and character agency And yes… the thumbnail meme is absolutely intentional. Are clip shows more than a waste of time? Could they be? How? Dive deeper with Inspector's Notes: https://youtu.be/JGkam7ccbKQ #UltramanOmega #Ultraman #Tokusatsu #GoingUltra #HenshinInspection
Ultraman Omega 12
Ultraman Omega Episode 12 finally delivers on the emotional potential that has been buried inside this show the entire time. I still think Omega is a fundamentally flawed series overall. Too many episodes have struggled with execution, characterization, and consistency. But this episode finally gives Kosei an emotional payoff that actually works and retroactively improves the previous episode in the process. For the first time in a while, Omega and Kosei’s relationship genuinely felt compelling. This episode finally explains WHY Kosei has been spiraling emotionally. His frustration was never really about public opinion alone. It was about identity, purpose, and validation. Once that clicked, the reunion between Kosei and Sorato actually landed emotionally for me. I also discuss: • Why Junichiro Ashiki’s writing worked better here • How Omega handles emotional catharsis • Why Ayumu continues to be one of the smartest characters in the show • The emotional core hidden inside Ultraman Omega • Why this episode gives me hope for the future of the series Did Omega Episode 12 win you back? Or are you still frustrated with the show overall? Drop a comment to let me know where you stand on this. Ultraman Omega 11
Ultraman Omega Episode 11 finally makes a kaiju feel genuinely horrifying. The new monster’s design, the body horror elements, and the atmosphere of dread throughout the episode all work extremely well. But the episode also continues Omega’s frustrating habit of forcing Kosei into artificial character drama. #UltramanOmega #Ultraman #Tokusatsu Dive Deeper with my Inspector's Notes - https://mjmunoz.com/2026/05/06/ultraman-omega-11/
