And with temperatures sitting **41 degrees above normal**, the air feels thick enough to chew. It's a warm, wet mess out there. In First, a heads-up, **Flash Flood Warnings** are flying for Wilkinson and Amite counties until 9:45 PM. Some spots have seen 4 to 6 inches of rain. And the ground just can't take any more. Meanwhile, a **Severe Thunderstorm Watch** covers parts of south Mississippi until 9 PM. Damaging winds and hail are the main threats there. Let's tour the state.
