Step outside right now and you'll feel it. That thick, humid air wrapping around you like a warm blanket. We're sitting at 69 degrees under gray skies. And folks, we're running hot for early March.
Down along the Gulf Coast, patchy fog this morning burns off by 8 A.M. You'll climb to 73 degrees by afternoon. Watch for thunderstorms between noon and 3 P.M. Tonight settles to 67 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.
Up north, it's even warmer. Partly cloudy skies give way to afternoon storms as you soar to 80 degrees — that's 55 degrees warmer than usual for this time of year. Thunderstorms fire up between noon and 5 P.M., peaking around 1 P.M. Tonight drops to 64 degrees with a slight chance of showers before 7 P.M.
