We're gaining nearly three minutes of daylight today. Sunrise at 6:32, sunset at 5:20. Winter's losing ground, even if it won't admit it yet. Now let's take a drive across the state. Down in southern Minnesota, you're the warm kids today at 12 degrees. West winds barely whispering at 5 miles an hour. Cold, sure, but manageable. Head up to the metro and northwest winds at 10 miles an hour sharpen that 10 degrees into something meaner. Air quality's moderate too, so sensitive lungs might want to stay cozy.
